Puzzle Description:

"Bud,why are we sneaking into the basement of Al's place? Surely you can't believe he's involved in this?" "I can,and I do,and keep your voice down,I'm not sure what,or who were going to find in here." As we slowly,quietly entered the basement,I could hear a faint whirring sound,almost like the sound of a bee's nest that just got whacked with a hockey stick. I flicked my Bic for some light hoping I was wrong about the sound.No bees luckily,in fact nothing but a long tunnel that as we walked along it,the sound was getting louder. We eventually could see a light further down the tunnel. We approached cautiously and came to a window. I peeked inside and sure enough I could see a bunch of young carrots,their tops had been shorn off and they were working at sewing machines. I had to think of a way to get their attention without creating a commotion,when suddenly Carrotina flew by me,opened the door,and screamed "My babies"."Momma,papa." No Carrotina don't"." No Carl,really don't" All hell broke loose,kids were screaming,tears were flowing,but amazingly no one was coming to put us all in a big stew pot. Or so I thought,then I could hear "Boom,boom,boom" Those were footsteps of something very large. If I was capable,I would of s**t myself,for I recognized the sound of those footsteps. I had come across them once before. It was my old nemesis. Manfred the....stay tuned folks.

This is so great. The story line intrigues and the puzzle sizzles.
