Thanks Travis, Kathy and Aldege. I think we all owe a big vote of thanks to Jan for creating this site and to the whole gang for hours of fun solves and interesting discussions. I know there has been some controversy over the years with various members and some of the comments, but on balance, I think this site has created a genuine community, which is always a good thing! Here's to the next 10 years!!!!#5: Jota (jota) on Mar 24, 2014

This definitely does not require "much guessing"#11: Web Paint-By-Number Robot (webpbn) on Mar 25, 2014
As I did it the first time, I tried KRGB. The black and the top red can be done with line/color logic. Then edge logic on the 6 in c7 makes r15-20 white and the rest of the red solves with color logic.
But then I had to go to the blue. Edge logic on the blue in c1 places it completely and color logic places the left blue clues.
Then edge logic on the blue 2 in r20 places it and the right blue clues can be finished with color logic.
Then a little more interesting edgy-logic for the green.
Note at the bottom the clues are alternating 1s and 2s. Imagine how that would look if a long clue were to go down through a 1|2|1. No matter which way the 2 went - left or right - it would end up making a block of one in the column next to it.
There are no green 1 clues in any remaining columns. Therefore none of the vertical clues can go through a 1|2|1 (ie, the bottom three rows). The only clue that would not create a block of 1 in a row next to it when started in r20 would be the 2 in c20.
Then line logic to finish.
Found to be solvable with moderate lookahead by infrapinklizzard.#12: Joe (infrapinklizzard) on Mar 25, 2014

I feel like a piker. Had a bit of a problem with the solve and my old freeze-at-least-once-every-ten-minutes computer struck while I was in the middle of it so just now getting back to it. What can I say that hasn't been said. I echo all the wonderful thoughts above and a heartfelt thanks to Jan.#20: Andrew Schultz (blurglecruncheon) on Apr 18, 2022 [HINT] [SPOILER]
