Heather, I am enjoying your puzzles a lot. I use Ogden Nash's poems in schools, to show students how much fun they can have with poetry. And your Mondegreens remind me of the Latin I used to sing in church, before I could read. Instead of "Ora pro nobis", we kids solemnly sang "O rotten donuts".

At least silk pajamas are better than polyester. Natural fibers will burst into flame, which you can smother. Synthetic fibers melt onto your skin and form a layer of napalm.
