Thought I'd do a puzzle demonstrating a less common kind of logic. It'd be nice if it actually looked like something.
#2: Mark Conger (aruba) on Apr 5, 2004
Very cool - this one isn't too hard, but it does require some unusual logical thinking.
#3: Philip Snyder (Alex72) on Apr 7, 2004
Very interesting. Educated guessing was the key to this one.
#4: Valerie Mates (valerie) on Apr 9, 2004
Wow -- tricky getting started; I liked that it needed a different type of logic than most of these puzzles.

puzzle is good, the picture not so good

Didn't even occur to me to use the logic you were speaking of. For a puzzle this size, I just started off with a guess. I think if it were larger I would've thought about it more rather than risk redoing it twenty times with bad guesses.
#8: Rachel R (rachel) on Aug 25, 2007
I also enjoyed the alternative logic.
#9: Deana L (FFsWife) on Oct 26, 2007
I can't tell you how many times I've looked at this puzzle and decided I didn't want to mess with it! :D Tonight, it finally clicked! Thanks for the lesson.

Fun use of my brain Jan. Thanks!

I randomly decided to try this one again. The first time was months back and I had no end of trouble. This time, no problem. It's kinda nice to see how I've progressed :)
#12: Gypso (Gypso) on Nov 28, 2007
I've noticed the same thing Naomi. It's motivated me to retry quite a few puzzles in my partially solved list. Glad to know that I'm not alone. :)

Thanks for the little bit of education. :) Being a beginner at these puzzles it's nice to learn tricks like this.

I had to use the hints, but I finally get it! This will help with all of the unfinished puzzles that I have waiting for me, I'm sure. Cheers.
#18: Scylla Kat (scyllacat) on Feb 21, 2008
I like Two hats being regurgitated after the Alien ate the wearers. But I'm odd that way.
#19: Gypso (Gypso) on Feb 21, 2008
You have GOT to make us a puzzle Scylla Kat. :o

Even though this puzzle is only a 10x11, I feel so good now that I solved it! What an eye-opener it was, to realize there are always new methods to discover. Thanks Jan!
#27: Diana W (aeris) on Feb 3, 2011
