This is superb. Thank you. I hope you'll reveal your choice in the next puzzle. Oh - a cabin in the woods for me, with a supply of insect repellent and my kindle.

Excellent puzzle, Linda!
I'd offer a quiet cabin in the lovely garden of an European castle. You can travel to Europe by a large British luxury cruiser. Vegas isn't recommended, but there are a lot of smaller centers here for a short (few hours) visit. :)

Very nice Linda,I wouldn't find Vegas too relaxing, the cabin in the woods sounds great, but that's not too far of from where I live, the luxury ocean liner would be a nice treat if I don't get seasick, and the european castle sounds like it would be fun and intriguing,so that's what I would choose.:)

After an extended illness, the cabin in the woods would be a logical choice. But I've always had a strong desire to see the great castles of Europe, so that would be my choice as well. Very nice puzzle. All my mother's grandparents came from Germany and there is a city with the same name as her father and I've often wondered if there is a connection.
#6: Linda Martin (ilovethispuzzle123) on Sep 29, 2013
@beth - thank you for the comment! I've always thought that Germany would be a beautiful place to visit and stay for a while.
@lollipop - thank you! i'm all with the cabin in the woods (with plenty of insect repellent and a laptop so I could continue my webpbn addiction). that would be my first choice, then a European castle tour, then a luxury cruise, and finally vegas, baby!
@Thomas genuine - thank you for the comment and the 4-in-1 combo vacation. wonderful idea!
@aldege - i'm always happy to get kudos and comments from such a good puzzle creator as yourself. thank you!
@norma dee - I hope you're feeling much better. it would be great if you could visit your grandparents' ancestral home. how cool that the city name is also a family name.
disclaimer: I see that I forgot a red pixel on the 6 of diamonds...groan.

Definitely the cabin in the woods - my favorite place to be.

I already live in the woods, but I often vacation into the deeper woods. I love to see the wildlife. I have only seen some of the castles in the states, would love to see the European castles. I am not interested in cruises, and have been to Vegas. All I liked in Vegas was the architecture. Did you get to take that vacation that you needed so badly?

Cabin in the woods for me even though that is where I live now so I guess I would just stay home to recoup! I am not a traveller anymore. Awesome puzzle Linda.
#11: Kristen Vognild (kristen) on Oct 2, 2013
Castles for me! I would love to see the Loire valley chateaux, but any castles will do. :)
#12: Jane Butcher (jane-o) on Oct 2, 2013
After being ill I would go for a not too luxurious of a cruise - one where you don't have to get dressed up but can just relax and not have to do anything you don't want to do.
#13: Linda Martin (ilovethispuzzle123) on Oct 2, 2013
@ellen - I, too, like the vegas architecture but the kinetic energy is way too much for me. I did get to take a vacation, and it was exactly what I needed. how cool that you already live in the woods!
@susan - and how cool that you already live in a cabin! how I would love to have a little 2-bedroom cabin to call my own...here in Colorado, with a little brook nearby.
@Kristen - I just googled and wiki'd the loire valley chateaux and they are exquisite! I may have to add them to my bucket list.
@jane - now that is the kind of cruise I would go on!
thank you everyone for solving my puzzle.

Yay! I am all caught up on your fabulous work - it just leaves me wanting for more. Oh well, I guess I will take the European Castle tour and come back to find some more of your puzzles!

hi kim - I just read this! thank you so much!
#16: John Macdonald (perlwolf) on May 2, 2018
Coming to this one very kate. :-) I've done all of those vacations (as long as you consider Wales and Scotland to be "European"). I wouldn't mind doing any of them again - all were enjoyed immensely.

Let's go again to Niagara,
This time we'll peek at the falls!
Let's leave our hut dear,
Get out of our rut dear
Let's get away from it all!

Muy bonito y original puzzle. Yo me inclino por el crucero, ya he hecho dos y no hay dos sin tres.
#19: Julio Parra (Julio Parra) on Mar 19, 2020
I prefer a luxury cruise.
