Let's see, Iron to make the roller coaster, and then Lithium to smooth out the peaks and troughs?

I like that it is a roller coaster, I was thinking of a suspension bridge that swayed as cars went by, but the roller coaster makes a lot more sense. Nice solve.

Sometimes it's the anticipation during that "clickity - clickity - clickity" as you slowly climb to the top, that is worse than the drops and loops.

I was thinking the same as Joe, and wondering whether Lithium Iron was a new drug that strung-out anemic kids were using.

excellent analogy. my life has surely been a roller coaster ride thus far. ups and downs and I'm enjoying every minute of it! thanks for the puzzle.
