My son's in-laws thought that they had it made, aluminum disk on top of the feeder, greased poles, and even a noise maker. The squirrels figured out how to jump from the nearest tree onto the pole holding the feeders, quickly jump from there onto the aluminum disk, and rock back and forth until all the seed falls out.
