Thx auntie JoDeen and congrats to you and your daughter and son in law. Our daughter is expected to arrive in early december as well,although my wife Niki may have to be induced because the hospital is 2hrs away and Niki always has quick deliveries. Were thinking of naming her Chastydy-Justyne.:)

Thx auntie Carol,auntie Heather,auntie Joel Lynn,and auntie Norma.So far were stuck on Chastydy-Justyne,please let me know what you think,and offer some other names that will give her the initials C-J. Keep in mind Niki loves using Y's.lol.:)

Something French would be nice. No Y's, but what about Claire-Jeanne?

The only Chastity I can think of is now a Chaz, so that name doesn't have a very good track record for me. :)

@JoDeen: reminds me of this old joke letter my dad used to have...."Polish Mother Writing to Her Son". One line in it read "your sister is having a baby. we're not sure if it's going to be a boy or girl yet, so we don't know whether or not you'll be an aunt or uncle" hahahaha!

A Canadian acquaintance of mine has a daughter named Chantal. Other possibilities are Charity, or Celeste. For Y's, how about Cynthia or Cyndy.

I thought of Claire,Charity,and Celeste but I didn't think they worked to well with Justyne. Chantal is out because I know someone named Chantal and don't have good memories about her. I have a grandaughter named Jasmyn so that's no good. Cynthya and Carolynn I like but we wanted something not so common. What exactly is the opposition to Chastydy. Niki's sister says it sounds like a stripers name. Thx for the input all you aunties and uncles.

You probably know that Sonny and Cher named their daughter Chastity. But she is now a he called Chaz which caused some notoriety which for some, kind of spoiled the name Chastity for them.

That, and Chastity Bono got her name from a crappy movie in which her mom played the title role and her dad wrote the screenplay. :)

I knew they named their daughter Chastity,but I wasn't aware she became a man. I also did not know the history of how she was named. This wouldn't stop me from naming my daughter Chastydy.:)

And, by all means, it shouldn't. I think you choice is very pretty and I think the y's make it special.

No suggestions for the "C" name, but may I suggest Jayne for the "J"? One of my daughter's names. Another daughter is Charlotte (we call her Charlie)...but Charlotte Cholette seems a bit of a tongue twister...lol.

Niki has an enemy named Crystal so she won't be partial to that,but Jaspyr is different auntie Joel Lynn,I kinda like that.:)

Charlytte-Jayne is nice auntie Ruby,but it might be too normal for Niki,lol.:)
