Not on April Fools day, but my son once played a prank on my daughter. He told her that a mature (white) dandelion had an attraction to flowering (yellow) dandelions. He challenged her to hide a yellow one somewhere while he turned his back. She did. Then he took a white dandelion and used it as a dowsing rod going up and down, checking her pockets, etc. Finally he moved it past her face and said "Aha - you put it in your mouth!" "Nope, you're wrong!" "The dandelion doesn't lie - open your mouth and let me see." She opened her mouth and he stuffed the white dandelion into it.#5: Norma Dee (norm0908) on Apr 1, 2013
She came home furious and complained to mom. Chris tried to admonish Jordan that he shouldn't have done that, but she couldn't keep a straight face while she did so.

My cousin did a similar dandelion prank to his sister when we were little. He told her he had a piece of candy but he would only give it to her if she closed her eyes and opened her mouth.#10: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Apr 3, 2013
Sometimes my nieces or nephew will do something bad and I have such a hard time keeping a straight face while their parents are disciplining them! I do not look forward to those days when I have kids!

I have a friend who is a firefighter. He told me this prank gets used at the firehouse all the time. Apparently, it never gets old.
