Puzzle Description:

HINT - There isn't really a huge arrow with the letter N in the Gulf of Mexico. (hope I didn't give away too much)

Nice, Dave. Doing these puzzles reminds me of playing at my neighbors' house as a kid. They had this really great wooden jigsaw puzzle of the US and we would race each other to see who could put it together the fastest. I'm surprised how much the shape of the states has stayed with me.

Thanks Norma. I've been using one of Alex's old wooden U.S. states jigsaw puzzle as my models!

I'm already booked there for next February and March! Buh-bye, winter.

Nah, the shape of the state is pretty much a giveaway all on its own. Tallahassee, Florida. :)

I've still got the plastic puzzle from when I was little. A couple of the tiny New England states were lost a long time ago. I'm headed to FL in 3 weeks, driving all the way to Key West. Wish I were there today as the wind is howling off of Lake Ontario today at about 30 mph!

Joel & Lollipop, I hope you enjoy yourselves. I've got family in central FL that we visit. One of my favorite vacation spots though, is the Alabama gulf coast - Ft. Morgan area.

Kristen - I thought you might have misspelled the capitol until I remembered that old grade school song, "T-A-L, L-A-H, ASSEE. It used to be so hard to say it used to make me flee." (Actually, I believe that ditty was to remember how to spell "Mississippi".) Either way, YOU WIN, KRISTEN!

Off topic, sort of: In my head I always seem to spell e, n-c, y-c, l-o, p-e-d-i-a the way Jiminy Cricket sang it a million years ago on the Mouseketeers.

I miss that little guy.

I can spell Cincinnati because of the song in the remake of Babes in Toyland, with Drew Barrymore. :)

You know WAY too much stuff, Kristen.

Yes indeed, Kristen is a smart little cookie and she knows more than you can imagine. :-)

I remember that old wooden puzzle, and the memory songs.

These are fun, Dave. I like what you added, made it more interesting.

Thank you very much, Teresa.
