Love solves like this one! And interesting image of...

a heart on a round surgical tray?

if i tilt my head to the right it looks like toto is about to run along the yellow brick road and the cowardly lion is photobombing :)

i can't remember if in this series alege ever says what the intention(s) was/were?

#12: Valerie Mates (valerie) on Nov 30, 2025 [HINT]
The site says the puzzle can be solved with line logic alone, but I am stuck at only 4%. Any advice? Thanks!
#13: Kristen Vognild (kristen) on Nov 30, 2025 [HINT]
Valerie, I used edge logic to place the 11s, and I'm at 44% so far.

Edit: When you get the 2 squares in C1, the 4 clue in C2 can't be at the bottom, because the 3 clue wouldn't work with the 11 and the horizontal clues. This already looks like more lookahead, though.

oh, wait. That isn't LLS. Drat.
#15: David Bouldin (dbouldin) on Dec 1, 2025 [HINT]
I think the move that will help you, Valerie, is that C2R15 will be a dot whether it has the 4 or 3 above it :)
#16: Valerie Mates (valerie) on Dec 2, 2025 [HINT]
That was exactly what I needed to get going again and solve it with only line logic. Thanks David!

I will say that i am STILL amazed at how Al so consistently made puzzles with enjoyable solves with fun line logic like that to find. I know he used the checker to make sure they were LL solvable, but for someone who never test-solved any of his own puzzles, the line logic that resulted was nearly always top notch!
