Funny how things change. I personally don't have an opinion but there are a lot who feel this is offensive. Makes a good puzzle, however.

One of the first bits I solved was the word "Skins," so I thought it might refer to a game of Shirts vs Skins. Then I solved some more and thought, "Nope, it's the culturally-insensitive Redskins." ;)

Our local sports radio station will only refer to them as, "The Washington Football Team." The nickname is deemed insensitive. I'm still on the fence. I don't think it's a nice term, but no one seems to object to "white people."

I agree, we make to much of unimportant things

"Redskins" has always been an insulting term, similar to the n-word and other racist epithets. "White people" has never been an insult and that's why we aren't offended by it. I'm glad the team changed its name.
