Very cool puzzle! I can almost hear the rumble and smell the dust. (cough, cough)

I thought it interesting that the American stuntmen had to teach the Italians how to drive a chariot.

Didn't an actor die in the chariot crash?

A rumor got started that a stuntman was killed and the scene was kept in the movie. But it was false as there was an accident but the stuntman injured only required 4 stitches in his chin In the making of the 1926 version a stuntman was killed along with a multitude of other problems.

Disappointing image though I understood the reference.
