Puzzle Description:
Not great art, but a fun and challenging solve.

The 5 r9 can only go in one spot...#2: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Jan 3, 2013

I found the same thing as Tom:
When line logic ran out I used internal edge logic on the 5 in r9 ->
if it were placed in c16-20, it would
- have to be part of the 2 in c16, which would then extend down into r10
- and also have to be part of the 2 in c20, which would then extend down into r10.
That would make two extra blocks of one in r10, and there's only room for one more, so r9c16-20 is dotted.
Then line logic to finish.
Is this supposed to be a movie? If so, then Three Men in a Boat (1956). Three Men in a Tub doesn't seem to be one.#5: Tom King (sgusa) on Jan 3, 2013
I am still attempting to find the correct representation of this movie, and I am not there, yet. The last two I published aren't what I want, but I think they are fun puzzles with some challenge.#6: Kurt Kowalczyk (bahabro) on Jan 3, 2013 [HINT]
Thanks, Al & Joe. I really don't expect guesses yet until I form a better clue. I'll keep publishing them under Aldege's Challenge, and they might add up enough to guess the movie.
I did kinda the same thing on the 5 in r9, but used the 4's in c's1 and 3 instead... both 4's could not extend either up or down because of only a 1 left to find in r8 and only one 4 could make it's way into r's 11 or 12. either way which 4 went where, 5 must be in the early c's...#7: Kurt Kowalczyk (bahabro) on Jan 3, 2013
btw, nice solve, Tom!#8: Norma Dee (norm0908) on Jan 3, 2013

Nope, still working on it. Thanks everyone.#11: Kristen Vognild (kristen) on Jan 4, 2013 [SPOILER]
The Three Stooges Go Sailing?#12: Teresa K (fasstar) on Jan 4, 2013
I know this one! I know this one! I can remember everything but the title. Dang. I have to go to work right this minute. There is gambling involved, yes?#13: Tom King (sgusa) on Jan 6, 2013 [SPOILER]
This is the scene where they travel down the chocolate river by boat...#14: Web Paint-By-Number Robot (webpbn) on Jun 6, 2013
Found to be solvable with moderate lookahead by infrapinklizzard.#15: Bruce Yanoshek (yanogator) on Jan 30, 2018
I solved it completely by line logic. It was one square at a time, but it worked.#16: John Macdonald (perlwolf) on Jan 30, 2018
I see a shooting gallery with clown targets.#17: annalivia (annalivia) on Jan 30, 2018
Willy Wonka#18: Joe (infrapinklizzard) on Jan 30, 2018
Definitely not solvable with only line logic.#19: Ron Jacobson (shmily999) on Feb 13, 2018
Willy Wonka, the original, of course. ;-)#20: Ron Jacobson (shmily999) on Feb 13, 2018
