Puzzle Description:
Sorry it's super easy--I just had to do this one! It's Piet Mondrian. I think this is Composition in Red Blue and Yellow, but a search for that brings up a different painting also. And I am no art expert! Do you like my creative license in changing the yellow to green?
#1: katherine (katherineb) on Dec 25, 2007 [SPOILER]
If Mondrian had worked on a computer, he probably would have worked in RGB anyway, as red, green and blue are the 3 primary colours on screen!#2: Twillis (twillis) on Dec 25, 2007
Thanks, I'm looking forward to the next pixelated painting.
Ah, katherine, clever observation! Good point.#3: Sylvain "WCPman" (qwerty) on Dec 26, 2007 [SPOILER]
nice touch with the color changing and I agrre with Katherine on the basic of color on a screen#4: Nancy Snyder (naneki) on Dec 26, 2007
boy I had to work hard on this one, just playing around, I love these puzzles#5: Gypso (Gypso) on Jan 3, 2008 [HINT]
Yellow to green is a nice touch Boar Goddess. :)#6: Bionerd (nieboo) on May 8, 2008 [SPOILER]
Now I can just print this one out instead of buying the other one.#7: BlackCat (BlackCat) on Oct 21, 2008
nice.
The black dots really bring something to it.
Bionerd is right, I like the dots better than the original.#8: Pam Tucker (grammypam) on Jan 27, 2024
Reminds me of the geometrics so popular in the 1960's. Easy...but nice puzzle!#9: Kristen Vognild (kristen) on Feb 1, 2024
According to the interwebs, it's "Composition WITH Red Blue and Yellow" (1930) :)
