Being prescient about things like trademarks, the "Big" should have sued the Big 12 when the SWC folded into the Big 8. The PAC is pretty well protected as there isn't another one. The ACC & SEC don't have any worries. The Big East is now the "Big 3 Time Zones." This is ludicrous.

Rats. I'm a Nebraska guy and missed the game. They're the newest (current) team, and I still don't know how the conference can't count past ten.

Gary, be very very happy you missed it. It wasn't even as close as the score (70-31). My puppies (University of Washington) have played Nebraska lots over the last couple of decades.

I don't know who this represents, but it makes for a really nice puzzle.

The Wisconsin Badgers...

I wondered who these guys were. During the solve, I thought:
The Patriotic Bears
The Circus Bears
The Weeping Bears
The Angry Bears
and The Bruins, for good measure.
I guess Wolverines works, too :)

Now, of course, it's expanding to 18. Nothing could go wrong with having students take 3000 mile round trip flights from Maryland to California! Even on weekends!
