The first one was the Bob Newhart Show and the second (to which this puzzle was the final episode) was simply "Newhart)

Great puzzle! Loved that show. We have a resort very near us which reminds me a lot of the show. The owner's name is Frank but I call him Bob all the time. I bake all the cheesecakes for the dining room so I get to spend quite a bit of time there.

I just learned about Tommy Westphall's Universe. He's the autistic boy who dreamed up the entire show St Elsewhere. But that show had lots of spin-off characters and connections to other shows before and after. So by extension all those shows are in the mind of Tommy Westphall too. It is staggering the number of shows connected.
