"What gets wetter the more it dries?"
:)

This was fun to solve.

I agree. It was very satisfying...thanks, Kurt!

Cute idea. Unfortunately the image isn't clear.

Thanks, Kurt. Kind of looked like a double of my Bull Durham tobacco pouch. Fun solve.

glad you all appreciated the solve. not too easy, not too hard. I'm starting to get the hang of it finally.(don't forget that I'm relatively new here). Too bad my images aren't that neat yet. got a lot more to learn from all of you black belts yet
#10: Tom King (sgusa) on Jul 1, 2012
Kurt: Please don't consider me a black belt, or take any artistic advice from me (I suck). I have also only been doing this for less than 6 months. The rest qualify...

Nice!

We don't know that these are His and Hers--could be His and His. Either way, a fun solve for first thing in the morning.

“Hey, you sass that hoopy Ford Prefect? There's a frood who really knows where his towel is."
(Sass: know, be aware of, meet, have sex with; hoopy: really together guy; frood: really amazingly together guy.)”

I once stood in line to have a book signed by Douglas Adams. Lots of people had brought towels for him to sign. I wish I had thought to do that!

Fun!

I do have that on my bookshelf..which is over-run. it's books stacked in front of books. The sad part is that I lent so many out and never got them back. The power of a good book is lost in today's age. I don't think so. Nothing is better than a good book when you're stuck at home isolated in the days of Covid.

Funny to read certain people are "new here."

I was about to say hoopy frood but thought "nah it's too silly" so the posts at the end made me smile and be glad I was wrong.

I love how well the lettering works here. I'm tempted to use it when a puzzle doesn't quite show what I want, but here, it belongs nicely on the towel!

Andrew, never underestimate the sheer nerdiness of this bunch! ^_^
