Sorry, mis-clicked the first time. This one is definitely solvable with logic.
After most of the puzzle is done, look at columns 6 and 7. Notice that the black 2 clue can only go in one place without forcing two red cells in column 6 (which would make that column invalid). This same logic is used the finish the puzzle in other columns.
