Another wonderful interpretation Arduinna. I think I might prefer your smile to the original. The only part I had to guess was the right eye. Once it was placed the nose mouth and cleavage square fell right in. I was wondering if you could pass some judgement on this puzzle. If the final verdict is that it requires guessing then I'm going to edit it. But, I'd rather not because a lot of people have solved it already, and the facial features were hard enough to create the first time.
Anyway, if you can get around to it... thanks!

I solved this puzzle exactly the same way you described in response 3. Seemed totally logically solvable to me, and a really beautiful puzzle.

This art medium - and really anything else too - is just not capable of portraying the complexities of the Mona Lisa's mouth. I hear it took Da Vinci 10 years just to get it right. 10. years. It was worth the effort, I think, because now it is the most famous painting in the world.
