Nicely designed, Randall. Someone had to do this one, and I'm glad you did it, because you did a great job.

I have peace today. I have learned that being at peace doesn't mean not having any conflicts or difficulties; it means finding peace in the midst of the problems, in spite of the challenges. I hope that I can hold onto that when the next crisis hits. :-)

Well said Teresa, the fact that your wise enough to realize that there will always be another crisis or challenge to face after you just got past one, means you will find peace during your crisis. So many people go thru life unable to deal with life's challenges. I've learned that life goes in circles, your on a high one day and you slowly creep down to a low, sometimes to the point of desperation. That's when you have to realize that you are on your way back up to another high point in life,so don't despair then,be at peace and pick yourself up and get on with the task at hand, which is helping yourself back to better times.:)

That is such an important lesson to learn - about the cycles of depression. When I was going through some bouts of depression in the past (toward the end of a loveless marriage), it felt like I had always been depressed and would never get out of the dark pit I was stuck in. Then I started to journal when I felt depressed. After about a year, I went back and read what I wrote, and I was surprised to read the same script over and over, then I realized how cyclical it was, and I visualized the circular movement, up-down-around, and imagined that each time I got to the top again, I could be at a higher point than my last high point.

I also learned that changing how I think could affect how I feel, and that resulted in changing how I live. I remember a turning point, a simple saying by someone famous, that made a huge difference for me. I think I'll make a puzzle of that. :-)
