I was working on this pre-Christmas, but couldn't get it right. See if you can guess. I don't like the blue "unpublished" in my list of puzzles, so I decided to release it.

Well, Angel was one of the X-Men for a while... :)

I see an alien coming down the ramp of his (its?) space craft. "Gack, gack..."

I stared at it for a long time yesterday and couldn't make out anything. Today I opened it up and I instantly saw the angel. :-) I think I had been focusing on the black oval in the lower center. I still don't know what that is supposed to be. Praying hands? Maybe too low for that, I don't know.

OK, I must be a pessimist. Other people saw an angel. What did I see? The last grain of sand falling through an hourglass. Maybe a little pessimistic, but look at it. Does anybody else see it?

That's one BIG grain of sand! ;)

I saw a rocket launching...or maybe flying in space next to two moons/asteroids?? LOL who knows!

I saw an angel long befor its completion. That black sircle is probably some round cristmas decoration or a crown or something.
I am unable to se anything but an angel, I guess beeing suronded by them since th 23rd doesent help:)

It is supposed to be an angel. I was creating it off an image, and don't recall what the round thing is. I discarded what I was working from. I think it was some sort of gold belt.

I saw an angelic vampire penguin with a '0' tattoo on its belly.

However, with the season, I figured it was an angel tree-topper.

I liked the solve.
