I'll take another stab this weekend with a different angle.

a hedgehog type creature (a two-legged one at least)

my first thought was a hedgehog, then I wondered if it was a bug.!

Yea, I'd say hedgehog also.

Looked like a louse, aphid or bedbug when I finished, You are all correct. It started as a hedgehog...

I thought that it may be the head of a pencil that is being shaved. (or a hedgehog) LOL

Thanks everyone for your comments. I posted a more difficult version from a different angle. It looks right to me.

I got the outline on the right and the black shape on the left, and saw a baby possum. Then I filled out the right, and I still see a baby possum. But those two little "legs" lower-mid-left? A bug?
