I am reminded of another situation--not the same, of course, but similar in that one sits in awe of what's happening overhead. Every September in Portland, the Swifts return to Chapman Elementary School. Hundreds (thousands?) of people gather on grounds with picnics to watch them return. I've been--it's utterly amazing. I keep meaning to go again, and when I do, I'll wear a hat with a very large brim. (Think about it.)
