Loved doing the puzzle Synthia. And thank you for the background in where the name came from. I too have thrown a coin or two into one of these machines. Brings back fond memories.#6: Sarah Andrews (sarah) on Jul 6, 2011 [SPOILER]

Fantastic puzzle, Synthia. The image turned out really nice, and the solve was fun. And I love the story that goes with it. Thanks!#8: Ellen Vollor (evollor) on Jul 7, 2011
Thanks for the history lesson. I remember my parents talking about the juke joints. My mom grew up in Missouri and jazz was big down there. It is a very good image!#9: Linda Martin (ilovethispuzzle123) on Jul 8, 2011

terrific all the way round!#13: BlackCat (BlackCat) on Jul 10, 2020
I recognized this early on and it is a great illustration. My father came out of WWII as an electrician and he set up a TV & repair shop. He serviced all the boxes in upper Wisconsin. Really great memories.
