Puzzle Description:
estonian flag
#1: Gypso (Gypso) on Sep 27, 2007 [SPOILER]
Hello Merili! Congratulations on your first puzzle at webpbn! It's a wonderful puzzle. I thought at first it was wavy lines then at the end the flag jumped right out. Very nice job. I can almost see it flutter in the wind.#2: Twillis (twillis) on Oct 27, 2007
Your flag prompted me to look up Estonia on the map. Is this where you live? From what little I read, you have a rich cultural history.
It would be so nice to learn more about you and life in Estonia. I hope that you visit the discussion topics and share some of your life stories.
Thank you for your first puzzle. You did a great job! ^v^
Well done, while a simple image it was executed it a great way.#3: Sylvain "WCPman" (qwerty) on Sep 27, 2007 [SPOILER]
nice easy puzzle / flag#4: Merili (merilinnuke) on Sep 28, 2007 [SPOILER]
thank you all :) this was the very first pbn puzzle i ever made, nice to know you liked it :)#5: Gypso (Gypso) on Sep 28, 2007
and yes, i live in estonia - a small but beautiful country :)
Nice to have you here Merili! ^v^#6: Deana L (FFsWife) on Oct 26, 2007 [SPOILER]
I was fairly confident that this was an Estonian flag fairly early into the puzzle. Estonia holds a special place in my heart. Thanks for the unexpected smile and thoughts it stirred.#7: Merili (merilinnuke) on Sep 29, 2007
You're welcome, Deana :)#8: Deana L (FFsWife) on Oct 26, 2007 [SPOILER]
So am I right if I assume you've been here?
No, unfortunately, I've not. At the time I developed my passion, Estonia was still part of the USSR. Made correspondence difficult and visiting (for a teenager) nearly impossible. It's on my to do list though.#9: Merili (merilinnuke) on Sep 30, 2007
Well, I hope you get the opportunity to strike out that point of your to do list someday :)#10: Deana L (FFsWife) on Oct 26, 2007
me too! :)#11: Evelyn (bettyliisu) on Nov 5, 2007
Juhhuu!!! Minu tupsu tehtud!!! Eestilipp on ülikena!!! Ja see on ka minu üks lemmikuid värvide kombinatsioone!!! :D#12: Merili (merilinnuke) on Nov 5, 2007
Jee, elagu eestlased!!!#13: Gypso (Gypso) on Nov 5, 2007
In case any of you here is wondering, that was in estonian. Evelyn is a friend of mine and started pbn-solving just recently (thanks to me, of course). Tere tulemast meie sekka Evelyn :D
Thank you Merka, I was wondering!#14: Merili (merilinnuke) on Nov 6, 2007
Welcome to Webpbn Evelyn. What would you prefer to be called on this site? Do you 2 live near each other as well?
Thanks for bringing another wonderful person to the site Merka (the first being you of course). :D
Thank you Gypso :D#15: Gypso (Gypso) on Nov 6, 2007
Actually Evelyn and I are practically nextdoor neighbours. We live in a block of flats, 3 storeys high, 4 staircases - I live in the first, she lives in the third one. So we do have to dress for outdoors to visit each other...
That sounds like fun Merka. It's always nice to "dress up" and visit a friend! ;-)#16: Bionerd (nieboo) on Dec 11, 2007 [SPOILER]
Aww, Estonia is such a great name. I have no clue where it is but that's my ignorance in geography. I don't even know where the midwest states go in my own country.#17: Gypso (Gypso) on Dec 11, 2007 [SPOILER]
Bionerd, I had a lovely Googlemap visit with Merka some time back. Give it a try. She lives in a pretty place. :)#18: Merili (merilinnuke) on Dec 12, 2007 [SPOILER]
P.S. I didn't know where Estonia was either ;-)
Our country is small and pretty young so it's very common that others don't know where we are (except our neighbours, of course).#19: Gypso (Gypso) on Dec 12, 2007

hey, sis!
merilinnuke, I see you have solved over 16000 puzzles, but have made only 12. We would love to hear more from you, both as a puzzle maker and in the comments.#23: Beth Baumgartner (valleygirl2) on Sep 20, 2013
Merili, love the puzzle! Once again, I learn something new ...thx for your creative! Beautiful colors!#24: Karen Sakamoto (baddemo) on Sep 20, 2013
Very easy to solve, and a nice job for a first puzzle. Thanks, Merili!#25: Synthia McBride (synthia) on Sep 20, 2013 [SPOILER]
I like that the flag looks like it is waving.#26: Merili (merilinnuke) on Sep 22, 2013
Thank you, too.
I used to comment a lot more but then for some reason I stopped. I guess I'm not really the commenting type. Love to solve the puzzles, though.
