Great concept, and a recognizable image, but I had to make several guesses to complete it. Not sure how logical those guesses were :)

no guessing
fabulous solve

line logic
then edge logic on the 9 in r20
edge logic on the 13 in r2
edge logic on the 4 in c2
two way logic on r15 c6/8 to dot r14 c1/3
edge logic on the 2 in c1

each of these steps is of course followed by line logic (there are many dots that can be placed that are not always so obvious)

the last part (the upper right corner) was pretty cool logic
the 3 clue in r4 and the 4 clue in r6 can not overlap so one must go on the left somewhere and the other must be placed somewhere to the right

this means r8c15 is always a dot

gotta go
will explain more later unless someone else does

i don't see how you placed the 13 or the 9

Thanks for your entry! No guessing! Placing the 13 took several edge logic tries, but doable.

sensei for the 9 in r20 just look to the right of c10
start placing the 9 all the way in c18 and work back toward c10
the 4 clue in c14 surrounded by 1 clues on either side means you can dot everything to the right of c14 because of all the clues in r19 being > 1

for the 13 in r2 you can get 3 dots in c1-3

once you do edge logic on the 4 in c2 (and follow it with all the line logic possible) you will get (among other things) a black pixel in r14c12 (and you already have another black pixel in r14c10 from the very beginning)

however this is not necessary as once you do edge logic on the 2 in c1 to get a dot at r5c1 the 5 in r5 has to go to the right of c6 and you get the same near end point

OK, I finished my run-through. In it, I found the missing pixel... however, I also found that the two-way logic was unnecessary. Here's the way I did it (with pictures!):

jota, you said: "several edge logic tries" isn't that guessing?
#9: Jota (Jota) on Jun 4, 2011
I meant I had to go back and forth, the whole 13 pixels doesn't solve at first.

Great idea for this theme, Tyler. I have to admit, the edge logic on this one only took me so far until I got stuck and could not find a way out and ended up guessing to finish it up.

Found to be logically solvable by gator.

Wow! That was a really fun solve, and not easy. But did I mention fun? ;) Thanks!

Very rewarding solve. I did guess twice.
