Fruit. It grows on a tree.
#3: Kit E. Katz (hello) on May 25, 2011
Fruit, it contains the seed or pit... Hopefully they remove them before they can them (we occasionally find one that the pitting machine missed, just like canned cherries).

Nicely done.

Thank you, Sarah. Do you like that one tiny kind of pasta that are tiny little balls? I'm not sure what it's called, but it's very good in soup.
#17: Kit E. Katz (hello) on Jun 29, 2011
Do you mean orzo or maybe coucous, LJohns?

Sarah, pastas are generally made using the same basic recipe, but the shape of the product affects the texture and the "mouth-feel" of the product which in turn affects the way one experiences a food. For example: I love spinach salad with a little vinagrette, but I can't stand mushy cooked spinach with or without vinagrette. It's a textural thing, and that does definitely affect one's enjoyment at mealtimes. So you and your husband are both right.
#18: Lilly Johns (LJohns315) on Jun 29, 2011
Thanks, Kit E. I think it is couscous.
