I used edge logic on both sides. Here is some help for the right:

Simple edge logic gets you C35R1-9.

Work from left gets you dots in C34-35R15.

If you put the 5 (R35) in R10-14 it would form the 1 from R34 without anywhere for the 4 (R35) to go that won't trigger black squares below that 1 in R34. So, dot C35R10-14.

There is a bundle of seven rows (20-26) that have numbers >1 on the right and no number bigger than 3 in c34, which means that there is no way for the 5 or 4 in c35 to reach r23 without violating one of those 3's...so C35r23 is a dot.

Now you can place 3 of the 5 and 1 of the four in C35. Extending the 3 you just got from 5 will let you do some more edge logic on the 4 to dot C35R24 and C35R25.

Hope that helps?

Thx David,i'll give then a listen. A cool little story,my Rheumatologist is a cool guy, every time i go see him we share new bands to listen to,3 months ago when my daughter was born we ended up with his brother as our pediatrician, now when we take our kids to see him,he and i share music also as he is a music nut like his brother.

Could be My Chemical Romance (with the "Oh! O! Oh!" 's of passion at the bottom).

No guessing required. Basically, edge logic on both left and right sides. Right side, actually, demands a combination of progressive edge logic in columns 31-35.

Very nice solving. Thanks for this puzzle.

Love the puzzle, David. I didn't recognize the image, but I really enjoyed the edge logic.
