I know 'burning the candle at both ends' and 'three on a match' (bad luck -- from soldiers lighting cigarettes in trenches) but I don't know "Burning both candles with the same stick.". Where is that folk wisdom from?

Gyps, we're gonna have to start making note for cross referencing with all the differnt lines that are going. Too funny.
