Sorry Aldege, I should've gave a warning to step back about 10 ft from the screen to view final image, then your eyes shouldn't get too fatigued.

New version published by hello.
#8: Byrdie (byrdie) on Mar 20, 2011
I had this about a third of the way done, saved it so I could to some other things, came back to a puzzle with a bunch of red dots. Spent fifteen miunutes reapairing my earlier work to get rid of the red dots, hit save, and spent another 20 minutes undoing all the white that filled in because I "saved a puzzle for which I had saved an earlier version."

I don't know what go changed from the previous version but I think this one is pretty neat. On the other hand, republishing it sure made solving a pain in the ass.
#9: Kit E. Katz (hello) on Mar 20, 2011
Sorry byrdie, I had no idea that would happen. I changed about 20 squares to try to make 2 of the subjects easier to see.

Great puzzle - I can easily see two of the zebra but not the third.

Beautiful puzzle, Kit. The longer I look at it, the better I am able to see them. It really did help to step back from the monitor.

I appreciate your eye for the artistic image and your ability to portray it so well.

thanks for entry, Kit

Kit, you deserve a lot of credit for successfully creating a puzzle with so many layers. :) I think the clarity could be improved by removing the 4th in the bottom left corner.
#15: Kit E. Katz (hello) on Apr 3, 2011
Thanks everyone, I'm glad you could enjoy this one.

Kadou, I had considered removing the 4th, then toyed with the idea of turning that one red & white instead of b&w (as a nod to Waldo); however, I spent so many hours working & reworking the pic that I just settled at the final image. I will keep it in mind if I decide to create any more pics like this one.

Very enjoyable. Nice flow to it.

wow
#19: Valerie Mates (valerie) on Apr 17, 2022
To go off on a tangent: I discovered that if I click on "peek at solution" on a puzzle with multiple versions and then alternately click on "previous version" and "next version," the image toggles between versions and it is kind of intriguing.

Whew! Glad I'm done with this one. I hurt from concentrating lol!

Stepping 10 feet away from the screen made the final picture pop for me. Thanks.
