Whew! That was a lot of work. Fancy color logic and some very tricky logic at the end that required looking ahead more than two moves.#4: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Mar 25, 2011
Nice image.
Thx Teresa.#5: Vaggelis Kamaris (evag7651) on Apr 30, 2014

Probably neat, but just too tedious to finish.#7: BlackCat (BlackCat) on Feb 1, 2018
Tried it again. Still too tedious.#8: BlackCat (BlackCat) on Mar 8, 2018
This may well be a great puzzle, but it is just to big and fussy for me.#9: derby (Derby) on Oct 4, 2021
I’ve done this puzzle twice now and enjoyed it both times.#10: Web Paint-By-Number Robot (webpbn) on Sep 30, 2024

Initial line & color logic solves 98% with only black remaining.
R33: Whether C7 or C9 is black, R32C9 is black. LL.
R15: Whether C30 or C31 is black, R16C33 is black. LL.
R28: If the remaining black 1 is placed in C15 or C19, R26-27 C8 will be black, and C10 will be invalid. LL.
C11: If R22 is black, R24-25 and R27-28 C10 will be black, and C9 will be invalid. No LL.
C9: If R23 is black, R26 C10-11 would be black, and R23C10 would also need to be black, which is invalid.
LL to finish.
