Puzzle Description:

I did this puzzle a week ago and now I have no idea why. I found it in my list unpublished and said to myself...huh? Make up your own story.

#1: Ellen Vollor (evollor) on Mar 4, 2011 [SPOILER]

A winner in the Special Olympics! (note the missing arm)
#2: bugaboo (bugaboo) on Mar 4, 2011
good thought
#3: Robert Shields (skweedle) on Mar 5, 2011
Really? You forgot?
You became a holy man and did a world-wide TV broadcast, telling us that you had the solution to the world's ills and a great recipe for oatmeal raisin cookies (I copied it down and they're KILLER).
You announced that you were changing your name to Illustrates-With-Pixels and that you would be publishing your secret as a webpbn puzzle on March 5th.

I can't believe you don't remember this.
Anyway, I'm sure we're all anticipating any puzzles you create today.
#4: annalivia (annalivia) on Mar 5, 2011
quite an imagination, skweedle! love the explanation and love the puzzle. now, where's the recipe for those cookies?
#5: Jane Doe (telly) on Mar 5, 2011
ditto #4.
#6: Brian Bellis (mootpoint) on Mar 5, 2011
Oh ... now I remember. Thanks for jogging my memory Robert. Now about that oatmeal raisin cookie recipe...
#7: Trish (tryingmysoul) on Mar 5, 2011
I believe skweedle has been listening to too much Charlie Sheen. Maybe that's mootpoint's problem, too.
#8: Robert Shields (skweedle) on Mar 5, 2011
Trish, you're right. I listen to no Charlie Sheen and that is WAY too much.
Since moot seems to have forgotten, tomorrow, I will publish the cookie recipe on the webPBN FaceBook site. Too tired tonight.
#9: Sarah Andrews (sarah) on Mar 6, 2011 [SPOILER]
maybe you won your race and wanted to show us the medal. I like your new name. I like oatmeal raisin cookies also.
#10: Susan Duncan (medic25733) on Mar 6, 2011
I was going to say the same as Ellen and I am now going to make some oatmeal cookies (without the raisins).
#11: Jota (jota) on Mar 6, 2011
I hope it's the outfit!
#12: Alycia (xoAly) on Sep 16, 2011

#13: Brian Bellis (mootpoint) on Sep 17, 2011
Hey Robert, did you ever publish that recipe? I'm craving some ORCs.
#14: Vesta Vath (~Dessa46~) on Sep 14, 2012
WebPBN has a facebook site? >wandering off to look<
#15: Vesta Vath (~Dessa46~) on Sep 14, 2012
Well, whatayaknow! There is a facebook page!
#16: Jota (jota) on Sep 14, 2012
And we even have a FB group.
#17: Valerie Mates (valerie) on Jan 13, 2022 [SPOILER]
The WebPBN Facebook group is here -- all are welcome to join:
https://facebook.com/groups/WebPBN/

I did a search there for the word "oatmeal" and another one for "cookies," but neither found anything. Sadly, I think the killer oatmeal raisin cookie recipe has been lost to humanity.
#18: Yonah Kondor (yokon965) on Jan 13, 2022
Called Facebook tech support; they said to reset cookies. :)

Yonah, Yonah, Yonah...I am laughing so hard!
#21: Koreen (mom24plus) on Jan 14, 2022
I hope SOMEONE bakes these and enjoys them, because I have to enjoy vicariously. I'm allergic to oats and milk, sigh.
BTW, Hi, everyone! I'm baaaack.
#22: Valerie Mates (valerie) on Jan 14, 2022 [SPOILER]
Welcome back Koreen! You probably already know this, but: You can replace rolled oats with rolled quinoa, and milk with soymilk or another non-dairy beverage. If the butter is a problem, maybe replace it with Earth Balance.
#23: Kristen Vognild (kristen) on Jan 15, 2022
welcome back!!
#24: Jota (jota) on Jan 15, 2022
Hi Koreen!
#25: Koreen (mom24plus) on Sep 2, 2022
I did not know that, Valerie, thanks! I have only been diagnosed since a few months before the pandemic hit, and since then the speed of my life has been set to around Mach 1.

I met my weight goal with the encouragement of non-profit group TOPS =Take Off Pounds Sensibly. I'm now a KOPS -- K for Keep -- after 179 lbs to 133 lbs. Weight goals for this group arranged with you and your medical practicioner listed on Dr.'s stationery. Best wishes for your health.
