Excellent! Wish I could live there.
#5: Susan Duncan (medic25733) on Feb 6, 2011
Thanks Wesley. My cabin (actually it is a beautiful log home) sits in the woods beside the Rideau Canal at Jones Falls which is in Ontario Canada. In the link you will see they talk about California which is technically where I live. It sure raises a lot of eyebrows when I tell people we built a new house in California!

Wow! Coming from you Linda I am honoured. I am glad that my puzzle helped make your day much as yours did after those long twelve hours shifts I used to work. I am sorry to hear you have had troubles. Hope all is well soon.

Susan, this image is so lovely and the puzzle was great fun to solve. I hope you have a chance to make lots more for us now that you have the time. Happy Retirement!

{{{HUGS}}} for you Linda.

Thanks very much Teresa! It seems that now I am semi-retired I don't have as much time as before. I am even getting behind in my solving!
#17: Lollipop (lollipop) on Jun 16, 2012
Susan, both your cabin and your picture of it are just gorgeous. You have earned a wonderful retirement in this place, and I am looking forward to many more of your puzzles.
#18: Susan Duncan (medic25733) on Jun 16, 2012
Thanks Lollipop! Unfortunately a year later the pile of rocks is still out front. Being retired doesn't seem to give you much more time to do stuff!

Susan, I came across this puzzle today. It is gorgeous. Are you still in Jones Falls? I've been there once or twice for meals at the hotel. Beautiful country (but then I'm biased in that regard). Please make more puzzles! :)
#20: Susan Duncan (medic25733) on Feb 13, 2014
Thank you Heather :)
We still live in Jones Falls and in fact I bake the cheesecakes for the dining room at the hotel and sometimes even work as sous chef when they are short staffed. If you are ever back there look for Susan's homemade cheesecake on the menu.

Will do! :)

I finally got around to getting a facebook account. If anyone is interested there is a picture of my real log cabin.

I don't know how this escape me for so long!
Hope you are doing great Susan.
