A good beginning, but it might be worth looking into variations that make flag puzzles more interesting. I've seen flags superimposed on an outline of the country, or one could try making the flag wave.

It seems to me flags could make good puzzles because of their strong colors, but for challenge I think you have to get them off of the flat rectangle shape somehow. Easy for me to say, I have made a puzzle yet.

I know a lot of people like to free hand their puzzles, but for a bigger puzzle, try drawing on graph paper. Ignore the squares at first. Then after coloring, transefer onto the computer graph, only using the blocks that are more than 50% filled in. Basically, this is what happens when music is transferred from analog to digital. I've had great success for this method in the past for other publications.

you should really make it how its supposed to be the American flag has 13 stripes which represents the 13 original colonies and there are 50 stars which represents the 50 united states the original u.s. flag was made by Betsy Ross with 13 stars and 13 stripes the 13 stars were in a circle where the 50 stars are now the flag now is very recognizable so if anyone else is gonna make an American flag make it how its supposed to be but I'm sure every one that reads this knows this already and if you don't and your from America thats sad and im writing all this because im really bored
