That's exactly the image, Adam! I actually googled "Donald Duck tantrum" to find one of him I liked. Donald is best when he's in high dudgeon.

I have a soft spot in my heart for Donald, because my dad, whom I've mentioned elsewhere on this site as being a comic collector for many years, was especially fond of comics that included the Carl Barks Disney Ducks, specifically Donald, Uncle Scrooge, and the whole Duckburg universe. Donald was especially rich in the Barks comics. He was no longer just a quacking curmudgeon; he had a family, and a personal philosophy, and by gum, he hated those Beagle Boys and the things they did to his Unca Scrooge.

I met Carl Barks when I was 10 years old. He was no longer drawing for Disney then, and he wasn't allowed to draw new Disney duck pictures, but he offered my dad some of his old Disney sketches for purchase (I remember him saying, "And maybe I could go over those blue-pencil sketches in pen a little bit, just to make them more interesting...I'm not *drawing* the ducks if I do that...I'm *tracing* them.)

My mom still has Carl Barks's oil painting of Samson and Delilah Duck (NOT Disney characters in the least bit) on her dining room wall. :)

Anyway, this was in response to Mr. Sensei's challenge.
