Frankenstein's monster.

#1: Marie-Louise Ambrey (marz) on Jul 20, 2007

What an excellent puzzle, a true classic, I love your work, keep it up :)
#2: Gypso (Gypso) on Jul 21, 2007 [SPOILER]
Fun puzzle Scott. I especially like the bolts. I look forward to more of your puzzles :)
#3: Gypso (Gypso) on Jul 21, 2007
Doggone! I forget to tell you that I enjoyed the title. Very funny!
#4: Minnie Fuerstnau (m.fuerstnau) on Jul 21, 2007 [SPOILER]
Ditto on the bolts! I had trouble around the nose, mouth, chin because I was doing it late at night and was not careful with the 1's and 2's. But then I got it- how fun! (Boris Karloff version?!?)
#5: JoDeen Mozena (Ozymoe) on Jul 21, 2007 [SPOILER]
I enjoyed this puzzle. I worked from the bottom up so I figured out what it was about 1/3 of the way through...lol...those bolts again.
#6: Scott (mikelz777) on Jul 21, 2007 [SPOILER]
Boris Karloff is what I was going for but it was hard to pull off. It turned out pretty good but doesn't quite capture him like I wish it could.
#7: Jan Wolter (jan) on Jul 22, 2007
Fantastic!
#8: Rachel R (rachel) on Jul 23, 2007
Well done, and I loved that the title didn't give it away...
#9: Jane Butcher (jane-o) on Sep 8, 2007 [SPOILER]
I did this at maximum size and saw a superbly sad face, when I shrunk the image it looked happier. Usually these puzzles look better small. I thought this was interesting.
#10: Gypso (Gypso) on Sep 8, 2007
I could humor you Jane-o and say I saw the same thing but I didn't. You did however get me to enlarge and shrink the image for quite sometime while staring at the screen from various distances in the room. Were you having a little nutty on me?
#11: Arduinna (arduinna) on Sep 8, 2007
Don't feel bad. I did the same thing!
#12: Gypso (Gypso) on Sep 8, 2007
Theresa the Boar Goddess, it's too late for me to start your new puzzle tonight (er, morning) but I did let out a squeal of delight when I noticed you'd posted a new one! It was just too late by the time I was finished taking Jane-o test. ^.^

BTW Which same thing did you do? See the puzzle morph or gaze intently at the screen from across the room?
#13: Arduinna (arduinna) on Sep 10, 2007
I shrunk it and enlarged it over and over again!

And, wow, your squealing is giving me a big head!
#14: Adam Nielson (monkey) on Aug 26, 2008 [SPOILER]
I have always wondered... are the bolts there to show construction, as in how his head is being attached somehow?
Nice image!
#15: Jan Wolter (jan) on Aug 27, 2008 [SPOILER]
I think the bolts are actually electrodes, used to zap his dead brain back to life. However the monster in the book didn't have bolts, that's a movie innovation, I think.

I actually figured out what it was quite early on! Thanks for a fun puzzle.

I select my puzzles to solve by using the "random" button...and I'm impressed that...solving these in October...I've "randomly" received so many Halloween puzzles to solve. (Things that make you go...hmmmm.)
