Puzzle Description:

I'm a huge Beatles fan, and I've owned Yellow Submarine (the movie) on VHS and DVD (and no doubt, I will own it on blu-ray). Jan did the iconic submarine in his #30 puzzle, so I'm doing one of the Blue Meanies. I LOVE the blue meanies; they're so funny.

Love this puzzle. Love the Beatles, probably for a little bit different reason. A local radio station just celebrated that it was 45 years since the Beatles one appearence in MN. Their question of the day was what your favorite Beatles song was. Without hesitation I answered "Imagine." How about you? (everyone)

Yesterday.

That's a hard one, Martin. I'm going to go with Eleanor Rigby, though. Oh, and Let it Be. And Fool on the Hill. And the Golden Slumbers medley from Abbey Road, and, and, and (I cheated, didn't I?)
#9: Byrdie (byrdie) on Aug 24, 2010
All good answers, Liz, and I wouldn't want you to choose just one if it weren't appropriate.

Great puzzle. Imagine is my favourite too

Nice puzzle, Liz. I'm a big Beatles fan, but I never saw the movie, so I wasn't familiar with this image.

No song, T?

Ah, I thought no one would notice. When I'm too busy to get the YouTube link for an ear worm, then you know I'm way too busy. :-)
#14: Byrdie (byrdie) on Aug 30, 2010
I'll wait. I'm interested to hear.
#15: Teresa K (fasstar) on Aug 31, 2010
Well, now that I have the time, I cannot access the YouTube site. Sorry, Martin. Maybe I can sing for you instead. How do the words go?

We all live in a yellow-free zone, a yellow-free zone, a yellow-free zone.

Okay, I'll stop singing now. By the way, that song is on the "Seargeant Sylvain's Only Hearts Are Banned" album.

Ah, it was just my Chrome browser (security updates messed it up). Here we go:

Teresa I'm not sure I'm catching the joke about Sergant Peper and I...sorry

Teresa... this link doesn't show . " yellow sub" video
#19: Teresa K (fasstar) on Aug 31, 2010 [SPOILER]
Ah, Sylvain, it's not really a joke, just a play on words. "Banned" sounds like "Band" and "only" sounds like "lonely" and Sargeant Sylvain sounded better than Sargeant Jan, and you're the one in charge of the Facebook "club." :-)

Tom, the link works for me. But maybe you'd rather see/hear Ringo himself:

Blue Meanie!!!

"Something" is a good one. Paul and George wrote most of my favorite Beatles songs.
