A black swan

I thought it was something else at first. Nice picture!

There's an error on "22", 17 rows down.

I'm not sure what kind of error you mean, but I don't think there is one here. This program actually stores the image in the database, not the counts, so the counts are always correct for the image. The only kinds of errors possible would be a non-unique solutions, or an ugly picture. I've checked that the solution is unique using a program. One thing that is confusing is that the picture is 24 squares wide, so the last set of columns contains only four instead of the usual five, which can make miscounting easy.

Oh, it's supposed to be a black swan. I thought it was one of those swan-boats from Boston! Great puzzle. :)

A very beautiful black swan also! Well done :)

Before I read that it was a black swan, I thought it was a witch's hat and cane.

i could see right from the beginning that it was a swan, or when i was finnished because whan i started i thought it was going to be a boat :-)

Beautiful Painting!

Solving for me went from the bottom up. Before the neck and head began to solve I thought it was going to be one of those ancient Egyptian papyrus boats, like the Ra. Fit the title.

Not at all difficult to solve and a very nice image as a result.

Beautiful image. My only suggestion would have been for a single red square under the 3 black in the first row; to represent that bit of orange-red skin on their beaks.

I don't think this site yet supported color puzzles when I made this puzzle.

I thought for the longest time that it was a witch's hat. Witches float on water, you know.
#13: Amy Can (hannahkin) on Jul 2, 2010 [SPOILER]
Reminds me of the Swan boats in the Public Garden in Boston.

Beautiful!

Nicely done! I also saw a boat -- and a sail -- until the very last pixel was solved and then I saw the swan.
#19: Greggo (Greggo) on May 8, 2018
Beautiful !
