why do people keep changing their puzzles so much? i can sort of understand when it happens once in a great while for an obvious reason but there are a few creators in particular who seem to do it all the time

i wish people would just make any "necessary" changes before hitting save when they are creating the puzzle

often the changes are silly and dont add to the puzzles quality at all and if the changes are to try and improve solvability then that should have just been done before the puzzle was published

I learned my lesson while attempting my first portrait. Maybe some folks don't know to try solving the puzzles themselves before they check the "ready to solve" box.

The only time I changed a puzzle was for the recent WCP, because I forgot there had to be a red pixel in it.

Otherwise, I always solve my puzzles before I publish them. I can't imagine not doing so.

things like that happen and i think its fine; i appreciate it actually
its just the people who do it on a regular basis

Every once in awhile someone will make a great suggestion for improving a puzzle. If I agree that it makes a more asthetically pleasing or improves solvablity, I'll make the change.

Just a note: It's perfectly okay to change the title and/or description. That will not create a new version it will not mess up people's solving experience; it will cause no aggravation or frustration. In fact, it could enhance the solving experience for future solvers. And those who have already solved it won't even notice.

By the way one question to Bugaboo: Why have you never created (or published) a puzzle by yourself?
