Topic #1047: Logic abbreviations in FAQ perhaps

We use a lot of abbreviations to describe hints/solutions. So I was wondering if it would be helpful to anyone new to the site if we explained what those abbreviations meant in the FAQ perhaps. I am thinking of:

EL = edge logic
IEL = internal edge logic
CL = color logic
LL = line logic, or proceed forward from this point with line logic solving
R = row
C = column
So R5C9 would mean row 5, column 9 cell.

Good idea -- I added it to the very end of the "Solving Puzzles on This Site" section of the FAQ.

(I haven't checked the FAQ in years. There's probably lots there that is out-of-date.)

Are there other abbreviations that should be there too? I spent ages puzzling over "WOT" one time when people were debating whether a puzzle was one and everybody but me seemed to know the abbreviation (it's "waste of time"), but I'm not keen on adding that one to the list.
