Every time I click on Forum it brings up the same two posts:
#33761
#34097

Try hitting F5 or Ctrl-F5 to refresh the page.

There has been aggressive local caching recently on most browsers. While this helps lower internet traffic and works fine for pages that don't change, it's a problem for pages that change.

Remember, if there is a problem going on, the first thing to try is to refresh the page.

I remembered that so tried it. But still got the same thing.

But it's OK now. I had closed everything except my Kindle app and read for quite a while before reloading Google.

It's playing games with me. I answered your comment #2 saying I had tried f5 and it didn't work. After reading the other comments I clicked on Home. Then I tried the Forum again and the last three comments were still there. Clicked on Home again the f5. Back to the forum - same three comments

It's got to be something specific to you, Norma. First thing I do every time I come to WPBN is read the comments and I have never had this happen to me.

It probably is. I just realized I haven't run my cleaner when I should have. I'll try that. Plus I have stuff I no longer need that I can get rid of.

Hm. I think I can add random numbers to the links that should help to get it to show the latest version. With my special-needs kiddo at home, I am very limited on programming time, but this may turn out to be just a few minutes of work, so hopefully soon!

Norma - It sounds like you're saying you went to the home page and hit F5, and then went back to the forum page. Did you hit F5 on the forum page? F5 refreshes the currently displayed page, so you need to do it on the page that is acting up.

Also, if a page has frames (separate windows) -- which are everywhere on the WebPBN site -- then F5 may refresh only the shapes of the frames without refreshing their contents.

In Google Chrome, to refresh the inside of a window, you need to right-click on it and then select "Reload frame." Which is annoying to have to do. Other browsers are similar.

F5 only took me back to the home page and the comments stayed put. But the Reload frame works great. And it's easy to use. Thanks, Valerie.

ah. I've switched back to Firefox, and F5 refreshes the whole page including frame contents.

I turned off a bunch of caching on the site. This may improve the caching problems.
