Thanks, JoDeen. Two of my kiddos will never be able to attain independence, so I will advocate as long as I am able. After that, hopefully my other son will take over. Is your son Joe needing lots of assistance? My daughter is 35 and in a day program where she gets to take classes like Drama, Art, Music, and Ceramics. She loves it, especially Drama as she is the original Drama Queen! Life is full of wonderful opportunities, if you are capable of looking, or if you have a really good advocate. :-)

OMG I think I'll ned anti-depressants now, what a "sad" story. Do you really remember or is the memory from "having heard" the story ...

this is a great puzzle - so expressive. i could tell what the picture was going to be before i solved the kids. the mom's staunch stance, holding out the lunch bag. just a few pixels and you were able to illustrate a whole story.
#19: Ga Hendrick (GaHendrick) on Mar 25, 2019
A fabulous image ... with so much movement. Thanks for the terrific puzzle.
#20: Brian Bellis (mootpoint) on Mar 25, 2019
It actually looks like you've portrayed different levels of enthusiasm. The oldest, sullen with hands in pockets. The middle child, resolute, walking with purpose. The youngest, taking off with enthusiasm, so much so, that the lunch was forgotten. Mom probably thinking "Finally!"

Ga, thanks - I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Brian, you saw exactly what I intended to portray. (✬‿✬)
