I liked that one. I really hate small puzzles because they don't have enough resolution to be detailed enough, but I think this works.

Thanks to Gator I too solved this. tough one.
fun puzzle though.
I think it'd be fun to purposefully wear mismatched earrings. Just as a social experiment. Social Psychology was one of my favorite classes in college.

I have noticed that the girls around the Boston area often wear different earrings in each ear, especially when they have multiple holes. I saw a girl with a hair style that was longer on the left side than the right, and her earrings matched the length of the hair on both sides. It was very chic looking.

For my daughter's wedding I accidentally wore two different earrings. Along one and a short one. I only noticed it when after the wedding I was taking them off. Nobody said anything, only the photos are there to prove it. I'm sure after that someone also did it thinking it was a new trend or something.

Jota is a trend setter! What is your next accidental idea? :-)

Late to the party - just wanted to say that between the difficulty of the puzzle and my own silly mistakes, I had to start over twice... but got it in the end!

Fun solve.

Answer to # 7: No, I think if Jan (or any guy) didn't notice mismatched earrings, he's just being a guy. ^-^
I have actually worn non-identical earrings before on purpose. They artistically coordinated. I had a big ear-climber on one and a simple stud in the other. They tied each other in because they used the same design concepts. It's the same fashion principle that you can mix prints if they are in the same color scheme, and it helps if one is not a heavy print.
