On second thought, you could make a contest out of it. Post the 4(or more) pieces one day (or make it a weekly thing). Have everyone solve the pieces and post their answers in the comments of the last piece of the puzzle. The next day, post the answer key puzzle, giving credit to the first person to solve all the pieces and post the answer. Something like this may have been done before. See what the community thinks.

I found a solution by working the final puzzle (after working each of the individual pieces), but it is not the correct one. I don't have enough colored ink left to print the pieces and find the correct solution, though. Did anyone else also find an alternate solution, who can maybe give me a tip to adjust things so I can see the intended solution?
