This one I had never seen before, nor do I understand the need for one.
Thanks for the series, very inspiring!

Wow Kristen! That went DARK!

Sounds more like for devil's food cake.

I'm asking myself, why are people saying fook? Then I read my own description. I meant angle fook kake.
#11: Jota (jota) on Apr 2, 2021
Thanks JoDeen I hope I get to try it one day!

Lol Jota...it's just a fussy foodie thing. Probably one of those tools that eventually will be looked upon as one of those fun novelty tools someday, though when we used to actually bake angel cakes from scratch, they were wonderful to use. Such tender high cakes we made! It was a pride thing. I haven't actually made one myself from scratch in ever so long. Now that does make me feel old. It doesn't stop me from remembering, though. The angel cakes nowadays really don't compare...and I am being honest. They are dense...and gummy.

As an odd side note, in the 60's when the "Afro" was popular, cake cutters were used as afro picks.

Look familiar?

Good puzzle. Had no problem at all. On the 16 and 17 across. Fill in the 16 and if it doesn't work then fill in from the opposite end. Same with the 17. "Piece of Cake" from then on. Enjoyed the solve. Thanks!

Thanks for the correction Brian! I had a feeling that's what you meant, but I didn't want to call you out on it. :)

Good illustration. Though simple, it did take guessing to finish.
