Awesome perspective. This image takes me back to very early PBN puzzles in Games Magazine. There was a huge grid, had to be at least 100 x 60 or more, and it was a similar perspective. I worked on that sucker for weeks, and can still see my soft stubby pencil in my mind.
Google tells me the puzzle was invented in Japan around 1989, and Games' first book of just PBN came out in 1994. I immediately bought it and eventually solved every single one.

Claudia's right, it's Webdings, which came out in 1997 and has been distributed with every version of Windows since Win98.

Maybe Microsoft took the image from Games Magazine!
