Just a silly joke I found on the Internet. I actually cannot distinguish blue from black on these puzzles, with the individual pixels and numbers, just large areas of color. So I don't create or solve puzzles that have blue and black together.

As we get older, alas, we gradually lose our ability to differentiate between dark blue and black. I have to take my socks out to a bright light to tell the difference.

So, is that the problem? Well that explains EVERYTHING.

Fascinating. Most of the colorblind people I have come across can't distinguish between blue and green or green and red, but not blue and black. Funny side note: a man I worked with had ordered a new blue car and complained that it had come in green and the dealership made him take home the wrong color car. When we went to look at his car, it was a vivid blue.

A certain shade of bright red looks orange to me, so I never comment on something that is orange until I know that it isn't red. I can't distinguish between int blue and black on here, either, but I usually only solve 2-color puzzles anyway.

I am using a TV for my monitor and have problems distinguishing between black and blue. On my last computer, a lap top, blue and green gave me problems. My remote control for my TV monitor gave up the ghost so I can't adjust the color that way, but I did manage to make a slight change using the computer adjustments which help a little.

Thanks, Joe. I had forgotten all about trying the SVG mode. it makes a big difference. The numbers are further apart and it makes it easier for me to distinguish blue from black. In the HTML mode the numbers are crowded next to each other and the blue and black seemed to blend into each other and I would have hover over the numbers to read the color.

Joe, thanks for explaining all that, and for the suggestion to use SVG mode. I just switched.

Hilarious joke, if not subject. I had a friend in high school who was color blind. We were car shopping, and I'd ask him what colors various cars were. He would look at one, squint a bit, then guess a color. It was such a strange experience, as to most of us color is instantaneous.

Enjoyed the solve! Thanks!
