Loved it. Brightened my day to think of Jan.
#3: Janez (Janez) on Feb 6, 2019
You gave to Jan his credit, so the puzzle should be OK.
#4: Kristen Vognild (kristen) on Feb 6, 2019
It's a totally different solving experience.

Now, where did I leave my bucket of tar? Maybe back by the chicken coop?

I like it.

Enjoyed it!
#7: Koreen (mom24plus) on Feb 6, 2019
I think it would be different if you had to ask his permission. Since you can't, I think this honors his memory and gives, as Kristen said, a different solving experience. My off-the-cuff thoughts.
#8: CB Paul (cbpaul) on Feb 6, 2019
Definitely an honor to Jan. I'm glad to see it and work it.
#9: Joanne Firla (JoFirla) on Feb 6, 2019
It's not a ripoff. It is a tribute, and those of us who miss Jan appreciate any puzzle that brings him to mind.
#10: JoDeen Mozena (ozymoe) on Feb 6, 2019
You put that so nicely, Joanne. It expresses my sentiments exactly.
#11: Jota (jota) on Feb 6, 2019
Totally awesome! Viva Jan!
