My cousin told me an interesting story about a presidential handshake. I am related to Buffalo Bill Cody. He once shook hands with Abraham Lincoln. Buffalo Bill also shook hands with my Grandpa, who also shook hands with me. Lincoln to Cody. Cody to Gramps. Gramps to me. I'm 3 handshakes away from Abe Lincoln. Anybody out there want to be 4 handshakes away? Ha ha.

Thanks for pointing out the use of the blank space Aurelian because I was totally lost. Cute story Vicki! Nice job, Brian.

Carol, have you thought about switching the dots in white spaces to just white? You can do that by hitting the "options" button in any puzzle page - located above "save" and next to "redo" - and scroll down to "Dots:". You can then select either "Unknown cells are white, white cells have dots." or "Unknown cells are grey, white cells are white." Then save it as the default, or save for that session only as a trial to see how you like it. (Forgive me if you already know how to do all of this.)

I set as my default to have unknown cells gray and white cells white. When the picture is done, therefore, white space is true white instead of these little dots that can obscure and disrupt blank/white space. I like this better, but I recognize that many people are very used to the dots, and like them better. It's a thought that I figure is worth a try. I hope it helps. ^-^

Thank you for the detailed description Aurelian - I didn't know that and it does help with some of the images.

I like the picture. And I like Vicki's story.

Thanks Aurelian, I set those settings such a long time ago, that I forgot that there are other settings! I'll give it a try.

A fistbump to say "your welcome." ^-^

I'm sorry, Brian, I feel awkward, like I'm taking over your comments page. No intrusion intended. You may resume the spotlight, since it is your puzzle. *bows and backs off the stage*

I always liked the Madmen logo. That is sort of what I had in mind here.

I like the puzzle as well

Thanks for the info on the dots. I didn't know about it. Unfortunately, after trying one puzzle, I just couldn't get the hang of it. But I like the picture better without the dots.

@17 Bill, I think you need to "blow it up" to make it official.
